Lombardi also underlined the growing interest of Italian carriers to the new Karume Airport of Zanzibar. Hon. Mwinyi hailed Italian support to Zanzibar. He has commended the Italian Government for its willingness to continue its commitment in supporting Zanzibar development programs.
