UHURU REPUBLIC IN TANZANIA

In the framework of the Embassy of Italy in Dar es Salaam cultural program, the Uhuru Republic Tanzania tournee’ has started last October 4, 2021. The Italian electronic music group, thanks to the collaboration with Dhow Countries Music Academy of Zanzibar, has created original music that registered in an LP in 2020. This year the Uhuru Republic is performing in composition masterclass e concerts in Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam. On October 14, 2021, Uhuru Republic will have the last concert that will be in the Old Fort Amphitheatre in Stone Town. The project is co-funded by the European Union. Ambassador of Italy, Marco Lombardi, during the Uhuru Republic Dar es Salaam concert, stressed the importance of cultural cooperation between Italy and Tanzania that, especially in the field of music, can create further collaborations between the two countries.
