It is with a very sad feeling that this morning we all woke up with the news that Ambassador Augustin Mahiga is no longer with us. He was an exceptional diplomat, a wise and honest Tanzanian and a genuine friend of Italy we will miss. From the Embassy of Italy we express our most heartfelt condolences for his family and share the sorrow of the whole Tanzania. May his soul rest in peace.
