The University of Padua has just launched the grant “STARS Grants – Supporting TAlent in ReSearch@University of Padova“.
Through this initiative UniPD intends to promote and encourage high quality, innovative and ambitious research in Padua, with the final goal to strengthen the ability to attract external competitive grants, in particular those awarded by the European Research Council.
STARS Grants intends to fund individual research projects lasting two years and proposed by excellent Principal Investigator (PIs).
In particular, the grant “STARS Starting Grants (STARS-StG)” is addressed to researchers with a PhD, obtained at least from two years and not more than seven years, as of 1st January 2018.
The deadline to submit the proposals is 30 June 2017 at h. 13:00 (CET).
