Born in Lecce on March 19, 1972.
Graduated in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste on March 19, 1997.
Following a competitive examination, appointed as a probationary Legation Secretary in the diplomatic career on December 29, 2000. At the Diplomatic Institute, completed professional training from January 8 to September 28, 2001. (Assigned to the Directorate-General for Sub-Saharan Africa Countries, Office I and the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation, Office IV). Confirmed in position from September 29, 2001, and appointed as Legation Secretary. Assigned to the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation, Office IV, from October 1, 2001.
Second Commercial Secretary in Luanda from July 1, 2003. Confirmed at the same post with functions of First Commercial Secretary on December 29, 2004.
First Commercial Secretary at the Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels from November 27, 2006. Assigned to the Directorate-General for Multilateral Political Cooperation and Human Rights, Office III, from September 27, 2010. Transferred to the Directorate-General for Political Affairs and Security, Office III, on December 16, 2010. Promoted to Counselor of Legation on July 2, 2011.
Counselor at the Permanent Representation to International Organizations in Vienna from September 28, 2012. Embassy Counselor on July 2, 2016. Counselor in Addis Ababa on July 4, 2016. Confirmed at the same post with functions of First Counselor on August 3, 2016. Placed on special assignment to serve at the Prime Minister’s Office as Diplomatic Counselor to the Minister for the South and Territorial Cohesion on September 1, 2020. Returned to the Ministry on February 14, 2021.
Head of Office V at the Directorate-General for Administration, Information Technology, and Communications from March 18, 2021; also acting Deputy Director-General/Central Director for IT, Communications, and Organizational Well-being. Ambassador to Dar es Salaam, accredited also to Moroni (Comoros Islands) and to the East African Community (EAC) with the title and rank of Ambassador, effective from July 1, 2024.
