For all Tanzanian citizens or foreigners regularly residing in Tanzania, it is possible to apply for an Italian visa by appointment through our website ambdaressalaam.esteri.it<\/a>. Appointments can only be scheduled by visiting the website https:\/\/prenotami.esteri.it<\/a> well in advance.<\/p>\n

To request the types of visas, you will need to go to the address https:\/\/e-applicationvisa.esteri.it<\/a> to fill out and download the form to be submitted at the counter on the day of the appointment.<\/p>\n

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The application must be submitted in person by the applicant at least 15 days before the planned departure, attaching a valid travel document with a validity of more than 3 months beyond the visa expiration date and on which it is physically possible to affix it. The foreigner is required to provide the following: \u2022 The purpose of the trip; \u2022 Means of transportation for outbound and return; \u2022 Income documentation \u2022 Means of support during the trip and stay; \u2022 Accommodation conditions; \u2022 Medical insurance – A valid health insurance policy for all Schengen States for the duration of the intended stay, plus 15 days of grace, covering a minimum of 30,000 euros.<\/p>\n

In some circumstances, a “guarantee” may be required, but before arranging it, wait for a request from this consulate.<\/p>\n

HOW AND WHEN TO SUBMIT YOUR VISA APPLICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

The visa application must be submitted in writing, on a special form in a single copy, completed in every part, signed by the foreigner, and accompanied by a passport-sized photo. For each type of visa, specific documents may be required. All requested documents must be submitted in both the original and a photocopy. The Embassy reserves the right to conduct further investigations and request any additional documents.<\/p>\n

The submission of all documents does not automatically guarantee the issuance of the visa, as it involves a comprehensive assessment of the applicant’s personal conditions, left to the discretion of the responsible official.<\/p>\n
