How to Obtain the Declaration of Value<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each Italian university will indicate on the UNIVERSITALY<\/strong><\/a> portal whether a Declaration of Value<\/em> for the foreign qualification is required.<\/p>\n

The Declaration of Value<\/em> can be requested through the Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence (CIMEA):

How to Apply for a Visa<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once pre-enrolment has been confirmed on the UNIVERSITALY<\/strong><\/a> portal, applicants will receive a confirmation email from noreply@cineca.it<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Upon receipt of this email, students may submit the required documentation to this Embassy in order to apply for a study\/university visa.<\/p>\n

How to Obtain a Tax Code (Codice Fiscale)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Students who do not already have a Codice Fiscale<\/em> may use the code automatically generated by the UNIVERSITALY<\/strong><\/a> portal for the purpose of pre-enrolment.<\/p>\n

The Embassy will not<\/strong> issue a Codice Fiscale<\/em> within the framework of the pre-enrolment procedure via the UNIVERSITALY portal.<\/p>\n

The official assignment of the Codice Fiscale<\/em> will be finalised by the Immigration One-Stop Desk (Sportello Unico per l\u2019Immigrazione)<\/strong> or by the Police Headquarters (Questura)<\/strong> when applying for a residence permit, as indicated in the Tax Code Mini Guide for Foreign Nationals<\/em><\/a> published by the Italian Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate<\/em>).<\/p>\n
